Tumblers MAG Program shines at 3rd cup!
Our boys are back in town after an extremely successful 3rd cup in Kitchener Ontario! 11 athletes and 20 top 3 finishes!
Our P1 boys made a statement! Henley and Harrison, our two youngest were fantastic with standout performances on High Bar and Vault! Alexandre and Shalom showed great improvements throughout the competition with their best showings coming in on pommel horse! And Evan wowed the crowd and ended his program with 3 MEDAL PERFORMANCES and BRONZE ALL AROUND! Congratulations and well done boys!
Our P2 category, Declan and Amare, two athletes that are well known in the province and always coming into competitions as the ones to beat! These boys showed precision and power all through their programs! Amare gave a masterclass lesson with an enormous new vault catapulting his to the TOP OF THE PODIUM! Declan has a huge day medalling on 5 out of 6 events and finishing his day with SILVER ALL AROUND! Job well done boys!
Our National Open boys, Ben and Sully had another very strong program! Ben was the king of the pommel horse earning him the GOLD MEDAL and Sully returning from an ankle injury showed no signs of slowing down! His dedication to training has paid off earning him the GOLD MEDAL on rings! Way to go boys!
Finally our Junior, Zachary, and our Senior Next Gen athlete Elliot! These boys have some BIG competition in Ontario! But these athletes are among the best for a reason! Zach showed incredible skill on floor earning him a TOP 3 FINISH! And Elliot may only be competing on floor right now, but rest assured this man is ready to make a huge comeback to all events soon! He gave us a small glimpse of his capabilities over the weekend. His floor competition earned him a GOLD MEDAL by nearly an ENTIRE POINT! His precision and difficulty is unparalleled in the province! Great job boys!
And of course a huge thank you to our dedicated coaching staff, Francis Tessier, Andrew Kwok and Alexander Gibson! These coaches more tirelessly with these boys and Tumblers would not be the same without them. Thank you for everything you do!
